Spa Termal Tlalocan sits within the grounds of Hotel Balneario San Juan Cosala, one of the area's most established thermal resorts with over 50 years of history. The thermal water here flows directly from natural springs and reaches temps between 34°C and 42°C, naturally rich in magnesium, calcium, lithium, potassium, and sulfur. The main level features multiple warm pools, hot tubs, saunas, water slides, and shaded relaxation areas - great for families. For a more therapeutic experience, the lower level along the lake shore offers six specialized herbal soaking pools with apple cider vinegar, flowers, mud, oats, and minerals, plus a reflexology stream and steam jets.
Tip: visit Tuesday or Wednesday for lighter crowds, and arrive before or around lunchtime to get the special pools to yourself.
